ba7973ceb49b9242aec563f84214c61eHello, I’m Farah! I’m an aspiring blogger/Business Journalism graduate who is dedicating her early twenties to pursue writing. I adore writing and jotting my thoughts in order to be a type of contentment not just for myself. Just another blogger, right? I could be, but my hopes are that the entries of my blog that I share with you will notably delight you in the slightest form.

I created A Blog Affair as a place to lose yourself in my personal posts, fashion and beauty tips and everything in between. You might find yourself relating to some posts whether it’s derived from your love triangle, social circle, family affairs or your school sanctuary. On the other hand, you might disagree with my inner thoughts and ways. Maybe you just need an idea on what to wear to the villas in Santorini. Either way, you’re in tune with yourself. Writing for me is my self-fulfillment. My hopes are for your self-satisfaction and bliss.

Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t- you’re right

  1. Stumbled upon your blog and I got to say, I truly love it. Your thoughts are beautiful. I just wanted to share some appreciation, because you deserve to be told just how talented you are. Best of luck in all that you do.

    1. Thank you so much, I really do appreciate the kind words. I really can’t take you calling me talented because it truly is just my thoughts on cyber paper which i’m sure everybody else thinks but not as much understands. You deserve to be told what a sweetheart you are.

  2. you mention how you are spending your twenties attaining your doctorate in medicine and I was just wondering how your career is going so far>?. I am also going through a smilier path and I was wondering if I could get some feedback from you. I’m currently 21 and I live in Citrus Heights with my family. I’m going to school to become a doctor, however; there are many times where I get discouraged and question if I really want to spend most of my life in medical school. Do you ever feel the same way?

    1. Do I ever. I’m not that far into it to become discouraged yet but I feel as if I will have that encounter multiple times. I’m about to start volunteering while taking all my biology major requisites. What I do when I question myself, I ask myself how happy and proud of myself I’d be once it’s all finished. How much it’ll be worth it in the end. I’d rather be 30 and a doctor than just 30. Push yourself, use that discouragement as a criticism of yourself. Study harder, work harder, educate yourself until you never have to question your position again. I feel as if so many people want to become doctors but never complete it. You need determination or you’ll find yourself in that pool. It’s brutal but let’s get real, the medical field is a competitive one and if you’re not 100% there will be somebody who is.

  3. So happy to finally see you post again, I hope you’re enjoying being back in California ((: I read your latest post and I know what you’re going through. I personally don’t know you but maybe going out of your comfort zone and trying new things will help. New experiences might help you decide which direction to go with your career, ” do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.” I hope you’ll post soon, ((((:

    1. I dropped because all the courses I was taking were prerequisites for my bio major. I’m switching my major to journalism so this semester would’ve been full of courses I didn’t need, I might as well take the semester off and focus on what I want to do with the rest of my life. I feel like the biggest bum, but the biggest goal aspiring bum.

    1. That’s so sweet but it’s honestly the most simple stores. I’m transitioning to only liking neutrals and basics which I get from H&M, Tobi (cutest online store), Topshop (every pair of jeans I own, nordstroms), Neimans (There sales are insane) and I’ll just online shop or steal from my sister.

  4. I’m a student at smu and I’ve been following your blog for the past year or so! Your content is so fun to read so thank you for giving me something to look forward to.
